The Big Hut

The Big Hut is one of our two bespoke Shepherd’s huts that we have here at Livit Hideaway. It’ the bigger of the two and is situated in the top field close to the vineyard.

Complete with private hot tub it is fully equipped with everything you need for a holiday break of any length. It is the perfect summer or winter retreat. On those cooler days or nights, you can turn on the heater and enjoy a good book and a nice glass of wine. On those warm and balmy summer nights, you can strike up the bbq, lounge in the hot tub, or just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet.

The hut has mains electric and mains water supply, a lovely full-sized shower room with loo, washbasin and shower. We provide all bedding, towelling robes and towels so you don’t have to bring your own. For sleeping there is a king size bed complete with mattress topper and super comfy duvet. There is a sitting/dining area inside by the fully equipped kitchen which includes a butler sink, oven, hob, fridge, kettle, toaster, glasses, crockery and cutlery.

Each outside area includes a wood burning hot tub, a fire pit and bbq area, and seating for dining and relaxing. Everything you really need for your country escape.

We allow one well-behaved dog to stay with you in the hut. As our land is unfenced you must make sure that your furry friend is on a lead and under control at all times and will not roam or chase the livestock. We do have a dog run and a lead screw that you can use to keep your dog safe and happy whilst it is outside. Please note that our goats and ducks roam free!

If you love farm animals then you are in for a treat! We have 21 animals who are all members of our family! 2 Pygmy goats, 6 rare breed sheep, 6 chickens and 7 ducks- all of them would love to meet you and say hi… and yes they do have names!

The Little Hut

The Little Hut is the second of our two bespoke Shepherd’s huts that we have here at Livit Hideaway. It’ the littler of the two and it’s perfectly formed. This hut is situated in the lower field and is the closest to our amazing rare breed sheep.

We provide all bedding, towelling robes and towels so you don’t have to bring your own. For sleeping there is a double bed complete with mattress topper and super comfy duvet that pulls down at night and stores away in the day (without any need for you to make it) leaving you plenty of room to relax and stretch your legs. There is a cosy sitting/dining area inside by the fully equipped kitchen which includes a butler sink, oven, hob, fridge, kettle, toaster, glasses, crockery and cutlery.

Dogs

Because our land is unfenced and open to our neighbours’ sheep, lambs and cattle, and because we have our own livestock, we can only accommodate one well behaved dog if it is kept on a lead.
